My closest friend's girlfriend, Susie, is in the ICU with a gastric bleed. They pumped a quart of blood from her stomach last night and don't seem able to stop the bleeding. The doctors said that it is basically down to prayers for her survival. She has had more than her share of problems over the last few years. I am praying that she pulls through.

It is truly looking bad. She is conscious, but still bleeding and on a ventilator. She was crying when my friend visited her. They have a DNR order for her and the current plan is to turn off the ventilator later today.

All I can add stman is my thoughts and prayers are with her and also with friends and family.

Susie is still hanging in there and fighting, but still loosing blood. She is also still on the ventilator. I should know more later today. Thanks for all the well wishes.

Sorry to hear Susie passed away. She fought a good fight and I will pray that GOD bless her and keep her close and give strength to you and your friend
