Well kids if you watched the championship games yesterday thru my eyes you came away with more questions than you got answers....
Were the Steelers so good in the first half...or were the Jets so bad....were the Jets so good in the second half or the Steelers so bad...
Were the Packers so good in the first half or were the Bears so bad.....were the Bears so good in the second half or the Packers so bad........
Which ever is true you know one thing----which ever team, the Packers or the Steelers that shows up to actually play 1 hr of football in 2 weeks will win the Super Bowl.
It kinda makes you scratch your head when one team is so dominate for 1/2 of a football game---half time adjustments are made and the roles are reversed.
It makes for an exciting game to be sure---but a good football game by a Super Bowl contender?? I`m wondering.
The mark of a great team is being able to put the last nail in the coffin once you have a team down-----but it also should be said in the same breath that..the mark of a great team is to come back from adversity play well enough to stage an almost impossible comeback.
The mark of a Championship team is the ability to do either on a given day.
So as we go to Super Bowl weekend I see a lot more questions about the Packers and Steelers than I have answers as to which team is Championship calibre.
We did get a lot of answers in yesterday`s game tho...we learned..
....Any team with Brian Urlacher on it can win
....Any team with Jay Cutler on it---can`t
....Aaron Rogers is human after all
....The Jets can`t pass
....The Steelers` Mendenhall can hold on to the ball
....Darnell Revis is the most feared defensive player in the NFL
....The Bears offence consists of Matt Forte
....Cromartie has to go
....Pittsburg Steeler run defense is simply awesome

Going into the championship games the 4 teams boasted the best "D" that the NFL has to offer----and rightfully so in the playoffs. It was only evident by each team for 1/2 of a game..take your pick which team and which game cause they were all the same.

The DEFENSE that shows up to play a whole game in 2 weeks will win the Super Bowl. JMO
