I have 3 lnb dish (1000+ I think) but only have coax ran to 110 and 119.
Right now 2 lines are ran straight from receivers to lnbs.
Have 3 receivers but don’t want to run a 3rd line to the dish in winter.
What switch can I put in the attic to get 3 receivers going with minimal effort?

Can you please tell us more about your lnb's? The 1000+ has a very large lnb for 118 & 119. So, what birds are you pointed at and what type lnb's are you using?

If you have a Dish1000+ then a DPP44 switch is needed. However, winter or not, you will need 3 cables run from the switch - That's 4 cables into the switch and 3 cable to the receivers(1 for each).
Now if you are only using the 119 & 110 from the Dish1000+ and NOT 129/119/118/110 then you could place the DPP44 switch or a DP34 switch inside the house connecting only 119 & 110 feeds into the switch(119 on Input#1& 110 on Input#2) then output 3 feeds from the switch to your 3 receivers. You may need to use the power inserter that comes with the switch, remember to place the inserter on Output#1 and leave it empty(no fta receiver, only provider receivers). Use Outputs #2,#3, & #4 for your 3 FTA receivers.

The DP34 doesn't need a power inserter... Only the DP44/DPP44 require the inserter.

yep i think you need to run one line from the dp34 to each receiver --now you should do research and lookin the swith discussins and there are lots of diagrams from mods who have posted them with good info and how to connect what you are trying to do ---seems to me the old guy passed on who was the expert but his info is still there i cannot recall his name god bless his soul-----bauzzoo

You already have 2 lines coming into your house(119/110). Therefore you can place the switch(DP34) inside the house and then output 3 feeds from the DP34 switch to your 3 receivers(1 to each).

I hooked up the dp34 switch and am having problems with signal dropping out after a few seconds of boot, I have never hooked up a switch and might have the settings wrong, so to start with could someone verify proper dp34 settings on a sonicview receiver using a 1000+ with 2 LNB inputs 110 and 119.
(3rd lnb is not hooked up)
settings before the switch were
Connection: SEPERATE
LNB type: OSC-DP
Legacy Switch: OFF
Do I put it on DPP SEPARATE??
At the moment i have only 1 box hooked up as i am trying to verify that this switch works before hooking up 3 or 4 receivers.--------------> (maybe i don’t have enough power into the switch??)<------------
Settings for a nano2 or z500 would work too I guess, I was just trying to get the sv going 1st.
UPDATE: Got it going, took apart the switch and seen a broken post on receiver 1, resoldered it and hooked up 3 reveivers and working like a champ so far.. thanks
still wondering if i should change any of the reveiver settings, but guess ill find out when i start using them.
