how do u get free dial-up?i live in the country &pay $28/month but its not long distance to the server.

Live in Michigan and we have what they call dial in free thought for sure would fail because of costs and no income but that must of been about 5/6 years ago.Have a buddy that turned on to and managed to send files to him during the N2 days and worked ok and know he still is using it.They even have made improvements in speed a couple different times.

There are very few free dialup options anymore. Think netscape still gives 10 hours a month for free.

Maybe instead of dialup, you could look into "borrowing" internet from someone else. You would be surprised how far you can get signal from, if you can see a house you might be able to borrow their internet. May even ask first if you know them- it's only internet

As a backup here, and for our vacation home, I use Juno. It started at I think 8 or 9 bucks a month, on a promo. When the first year was over, they tried to raise it. I called up their customer service and told them what they could do with their price increase, and to cancel my service. We agreed at $4.95 a month. It's been that way since 2005.

i have dial up with b*ll and cost me 20.00=taxes in "gta" ontario canada, i retain it to keep my e mail address but i get only 10 hrs ,i don't care tho cause i use wireless now just didn't want to change my e mail address, if i could keep same e mail i would change in a minute just to give them a message, i had netscape years back old wind. 98 --things have changed now got wind XPpro and use firefox for browser,if any body can add anything i would appreciate it just doing little testing thats all save a buck here and there thank you bauzzoo"

use hotmail,gmail,yahoo mail and it works with any ip,netsape that is not accelerated is on $14. a month unlimited (i do believe ns is a cheaper aol version) email your contacts and have them use one of the above accounts then switch
