For most of the US a 33 is fine.
What kind of receiver do you have? I pick it up on my CS6100

For your location a 33" might just not be big enough, your just on the fringe. If your looking for Bio and History, there signal strength go down at night, your dish might be just to small. Your in the 44-46 dbw range.
Your receiver would be great for FTA, but like Costactc said your dish might be too small. It's worth a try.

Personally I'm not familiar with the box, & in my searching I didn't find a lot of support. I would say since you have it, try it out. We would be glad to give you help where you need it. In all honesty however you may be better off to go with a Coolsat or a Pansat for an FTA Receiver.

ariza should be ok ,you used to be able to convert it to a pansat which is an excellent fta receiver
