nintendo ds lite game problem

hi any help would be apperciated.. got the kids new ds lites for christmas and they came with a game card that says 195in1 now when you put it in it comes up list file and seems like it is trying to load but will not load. in manual mode it comes up saying the game is DS FIRELINE i dont know anything about these game systems so anything anyone can tell me would be appreciated..:noidea:

That appears to be a cart and some carts are usable only under certain firmwares you may have updated the the ds firmware at some point rendering that cart unusable. also sometimes with some carts you may need to change the date in the ds back a year or so that may help so for example try setting the date back to Dec 10th, 2009. Finally what you need to do if you really want to save some money and time is buy a real cart such as a R4 of any kind that is compatible with your ds. What type of ds do you have? installing a r4 cart is simple just drag and drop the kernel into a folder and drag and drop some games into a game folder and there you go you can have all the games you want for your kids. Respond with the type of ds and i will try and point you in the right direction.
Example:

Replace XXX with www and YYY with com

hi there thanks not to sure i understand any of this lol but its a ds lite thats all i no.. my neighbour told me to get the card like r4 because my card is nothing like it cant put it in comp or nothing

thats it tryed to change date back to 2009 did nothing i think somehow it erased the card??? is that possible

changing the date no you would need to actually plug into your comp to do that. As far as the R4 cart yes i provided the link for you read my first post and go to that link. You can buy almost any R4 cart that is made for a DSlite just simply look at the name and read the info make sure it is comparable with a ds lite. The link i provided will take you to just one shop where you can buy the cart you need and that link is to the cart you need hell if you scroll down that page there is super easy instructions on how to load the card with the firmware and how to load games very very simple. Have you ever dragged pictures or music into a blank folder of a memory card or camera or phone just drag whatever rom (rom just means game) into the game folder of your R4 cart and your are ready to play the games it is truly the easiest counsel to use for what you are looking to do. If you need help post i would have responded yesterday but i had forgot about this post till today.
