Hello, I used to have my standard sized dish (from a provider) aimed at the internationals on 148 before it stopped.
Is it possible to get 61.5 from Edmonton and what size dish would I need? Thanks in advance.

Recomended minimum size dish for Echostar3 at 61w is 33".
You are in a fringe area for Echostar12 at 61w, so if you are wanting that satellite you will need a big dish, 94" minimum.

Most of the international channels are on 118.75W(Anik F3) and dish size would be 30". However you will need a special low frequency circular polarity LNB. Nice thing thou, it will receive both 118 & 119.
To get 61.5W(Echostar3,12,15) you need at least a 33" dish. E*3 & E*15 are CONUS and E*12 is spot beam TPs. The internationals are on E*3 at 61.5W.

Have seen it done in Edmonton with a 48 inch dish. Must have good view of lower southeast hoizon as it is very low.
