hi my satfix family, as you all know i am usually here alot, usually everyday. i have been away or not here as often lately because i have been with my dad alot. i haven't mentioned it before but my dad had throat cancer, stage 4 which is not good. i was terrrified and was by his side through the treatment. i am happy to say he made it through intense radiation and chemo too. they have gotten rid of the cancer they say which is a blessing. my dad could not eat food as his throat was full of blisters and raw from radiation and had to eat through a tube put in his stomach. as i said his treatment is over and his throat is healing up slowly but his taste buds were burnt and he can't taste a thing and everyting he attempts to eat tastes like motor oil he says. this has made him very depressed and he has needed my support more now then durring treatment. i never realized how much of the battle would recovering be. slowly but surely he will get there with the love and support from family and friends. this has been difficult on all of us. i believe in the power of prayer and positive thinking because i have witnessed it first hand. i kept my dad positive and kept him fighting this terrible disease that is killing many.

anyways just wanted to let people here know that i am still around and hope to be back here all the time like before. hope everyone is doing well!!!
