Everything on the screen is small, I tried to make it larger by increasing the resulution, after I push the apply button, screen shows a message RANGE TO FAR, how can I make the things Normal?
Monitor was working normal, before I changed the PC. It is an old hp pavillion751n.
I have ordered a new PC until it arrives I have to fool around with this old one..:noidea:

Bring the resolution down to 800 by 600 pixels.. Its probably at 1280 by 800 or higher now..
Start, control panel, appearence and themes, screen resolution..
Umm and show some respect for the elders...:innocent:

i moved your thread spacecowboy over to the computor lab, pc subform. better exposure for your question in this discusion section.
Is the monitor an LCD (flat screen) or CRT? What size is the monitor? Your problem is likely the refresh rate is set too high. An old PC was likely using a CRT monitor and had the refresh rate set to 75Hz or higher to eliminate flicker. Trying to set a high resolution with a high refresh rate on an LCD monitor will cause the "RANGE TOO FAR" or "OUT OF RANGE" error message from the monitor itself and not Windows. If it's an LCD monitor set your refresh rate to 60Hz then adjust the resolution and that should work.
Click the advanced button on the Settings tab of the display properties. Click on the Monitor tab then set the Screen refresh rate to 60Hz.
ctrl and + will enlarge the screen you are viewing on most browsers ...
