hello strange problem tp0o catch galaxy 19

hello i have very hard time to get galaxy 19 since i have two lnbs on my dish heres my setting dish fortect star 31 inches quad innovacom with a bracket with a dual lnb on the same dish to cacth anik f-118 not getting any of the galaxy the one for dishnet did come nobody cannot find why is not getting galaxy 19 since the one for dishnet come ver7y strange why galaxy 19 cannot be the frequency as dish net i did try universal 10600 -10700- and single 10600-10700 i lost ga 19 on my dish after n3 comeup las year my zip code is 01850 i did put my lat and long i forgor to mentioned i do i have have motor on my dish id dg 240 i swear the god if you dont want this sat ga 19 dont look for it is the wors one ever since my dish is pick up well the other why ga so difficult to found i did point my dish on it no sign of it is there any transponder special i have to load for ga 19 no matter what receiver i use even blind scan dont help look like to me whend i try to blind scan that satellite with my sonic view intel5 five show some transponder with no signal mix with dishnet channel my dish not even on it very strange cause i beentrying for long time if you have any help please give me some help no mattter what i do whend you think you done more job come ahead please tell me whats the problem is ga 19 thank you

I'm going to need your install settings before I can help you out. Are we dealing with switches? Is your dish motorised because there is a 22 degree seperation between Anikf3 and G19. Another thing, your lnb frequency should be set to 10750 and standard, what type of receiver are you using?

costa am using a 2 x 4 fta switch i can get the others but none of the galaxy i use before a pansat 9200 i did try my sonicview 8000 hd and my pansat 9200 those two i use i did use the pansat before the most. i dont undestand anything about degrees my long 71-4 lat 42 6 i did pay to install it for me one thing i see any receiver i use whend i press go-to -sat position the dish not moving any receiver i use i can only press go to reference i did select standar10700 -10750 on my pansat 9200 signal is reach 74 percent but with no quality thank for you help i did try 10600 and 10700 no luck thanks

First and foremost, your install settings need to be standard for lnb, 10750 for lnb frequency and you need to assign the proper port setting for your switch. That's the least of the problems.
You need to make sure your dish is pointed at 97w in order to get some kind of signal quality. If your using usals to move your dish I would suggest trying disecq 1,2. Start at Anikf3(118.8) and move east until you get some type of quality on a known working tp for G19.

Are you saying that you are using a dishnet dish to try and get galaxy 19? If you are using the L N B F for dishnet it is circular and will not work. You want to use a standard lineal L N B F or a universal lineal L N B F.

Although people use universal lineal L N B F ‘s with success I personally like using a STANDARD lineal L N B F. I find them easer to set up also universal are not necessary in North America.


Bigger the dish the better. I use a 36-inch dish with a motor and have a few stationary dishes also. Have had great luck using old star choice dishes. Mostly the 30x33inch round type also 18x36 star choice elliptical the duel L N B F ones from star choice.

Make sure mast dish is on is perfectly plumb. Important.

I take a small TV and my receiver right out to the dish but what ever works for you.
You could have some one watch the screen as you adjust. no TV’s or receivers in the rain.

Point the dish to where you think satellite is. I use a compass I got at Canadian tire to point me in the right direction in the sky. Then adjust elevation (up/down) degs. The scales on the dish are never right but it gives you some were to start from for now.
Now move the dish left to right really slowly a 1/16 at a time stop then a 1/16 and stop give it a second, and so on or right to left what ever works for you watch you meter closely, go back and forth up and down SLOWLY working a grid pattern and you will find it. I have tuned in dozens of satellites using this method. Use small tiny adjustments or you will miss it. DON”T STAND IN FRONT OF THE DISH when adjusting it like I did once.

Once you get a signal go back and forth up/down till you get the best possible signal. Then you need to adjust the L N B skew this is done buy turning the L N B right or left.
I adjust my L N B buy turning it slowly on way till signal drops off then the other way till signal drops off and set it in the middle or the strongest signal.
Once you have done all this and nuts, bolts and screws are snugged up you would exit the antenna setup page say yes to save the settings. Next go to main menu then installation then Blind scan and do a blind scan for this satellite. It will scan all the tp’s on this satellite.
On my viewsat receiver in the antenna setup page I would set my L N B to standard because I use a standard linear L N B

You will get something. This is a much weaker signal then bell or dishnet and living in Canada we are on the fringe as most of these satellites are amid at the states.

The strength reading is from the dish to the receiver. it’s what’s coming down the line.
You could point a dish at the ground and get a good strength reading.

Quality is from the satellite to the dish

paul my lnb did get it before i forgot to say my lnd in inovacom quad two circullar two linear and digivave 1189s to get 118 on the same dish the size of my dish is 31 inches i get the other well but galaxy 19 is is gone after i pay to add the 118 lnb i8 cant reach the top cause is too high for me the diseq is fta switch 2x4 i have 6 foot dish but i need home first am so lost out i think i will let go because i just have tech come at my home cant even find it so before that a tech come since then lost it thanks
