In the pic you will see a QPH-031 but its a QPF-031 quad for the BUDs, all of what you see there will be on one BUD i just need to best way to go about this.

can i just use one port on the diseqc? if yes what will be my settings on the stb?

diseqc port 1 -> sat 1 (ku bands) 22khz off -> the 'H' or 'V' will be know buy the 13v or 18v sent. How does it know linear or circular?

diseqc port 1 -> sat 2 (c band) 22khz on -> 'H' or 'V' but voltage change (13v/18v)

i have NEVER played with a multiswitch guys.

The specs for QPH-031 show that you have to use ports 1 and 3 for linear, and ports 2 and 4 for circular, so you would have to hook up the switch to the desired linear and circular ports and then set the box up to select those ports as you need their outputs at the box.

so you are sayin what started with is correct i just need to setup the sats like 'normal' and it will figure out which is linear or circular by the freq (10750/11250)i set?

C output to port 1
L output to port 2

# Reception of both LINEAR/FTA (10750) and CIRCULAR/DBS (11250) polarization
# Linear sats (Port 2): 30°, 43°, 87°, 95°, 97°, 101°, 121°, 123°W, etc
# Circular sats (Port 1): 61.5°, 72.7°, 77°, 82°, 91°, 110°, 119°, 129°, 148°W, etc

ok guys, i been back to the drawing board and have been doin small amounts of reading and here is a diagram of what i have in mind. . .and the question for what i want which is. . .

how do i go about allowing the fta stb to receive the signals from 119 and 110 while NOT disabling the 222k?

here is the only idea from a novice like myself. . .

another 4x4 multiswitch for the 119w and 110w and use a diseqc switch on the fta side.
