does anyone know if philips switches work for bev receivers? Ive gone through all the switches I own and not one is compatible with my receiver. Im also curious about whether seperators actually work or do they limit you to a single transponder. I would just go ahead and buy one but, where I live, I have to order from out of town and don't want to waste much time. (philips switches are the only brand available here) Thanks in advance.

I have never heard of them. I googled them and only came up with a video cable switch

most bev receivers use a sw-21 switch or sw-44

The only philips switch I am familiar with is a 3x4 multiswitch and works fine with Bell equipment. Many other brands of switches will work with Bell equipment, however they are not "Bell Approved".
As for Seperators, that would depend on what you mean. DPP Seperators will work with DPP LNBs only. Bell uses primarily Legacy LNBs, in which a DPP Seperator would not be compatible. Now Philips makes a Diplexer which is used to "combine" or "separate" your Sat Signal and Terr. Antenna Signal.
Perhaps if you explained, in detail, what you wish to accomplish and provide a detailed list of your equipment we would be able to help you more.

thanks for the info on the philips 3x4, maybe I'll give er a shot. as for seperator, I actually stumbled upon it while looking for switch options. Ive got a bev sub, along with my nano 2, and recently picked up a dual tuner (9421) and a variety of different lnbs. Im just trying to find out my options for install, and would prefer the easiest possible (been working crazy hours) But obviously want my sub running properly

Run 2 coaxes for the dual tuner receiver, less problems as the BEV recivers use legacy LNB's and the seperators wont work too good with them.

I have been running Phillips 3x4 switches with my Bev equipment (6131 and 4100) along with my FTA receivers for about two an a half years now with no problems.
