Im next door in northern Alberta and that transponder is bad here too. Im getting PBS Montana but very low quality. Even the G18 at 123w is very low for me tonight, must be a weather thing?

I've also been seeing this signal getting weaker (prairies), but this is on the Ku side. The announcement you directed us to looks like it is for the C-band analog signal
Accordingly, PBS is announcing that the Analog C-Band transmissions of PBS programming, currently on Transponder 16 of the SES-1 satellite at 101 degrees W.L., will be discontinued
I suspect that the signal will be fluctuating as they attempt to get things ready for November. Hopefully it`ll settle down again after that, as this is one of the channels I enjoy all the time.

I have found that TP12180 is the strongest TP on that bird, try a tweak on that TP and see if you get a better "Q", I did and got about a 10% increase on the others.

Tweaked the dish 0.1 degree and have a strong Q on PBS Montana HD again. Even got KCET back.

I'm not Secheltpaul but you will need a linear lnb = 10750 to get those stations

I would also recommend at least a 1 meter dish for this bird.

Sorry did not get back to you soon Miguelon, out of town for a day.
I use a standard lineal L N B F and a 36inch KU band dish.
Yes 10750mhz
I prefer a standard lineal lnb, but many members here use universal lineal inb with great success.
Still not getting pbs Montana but getting the other pbs channels from AMC 21 – 125 W
Have not had time to play with the dish I had a look at lyngsat.com maps and you should get this no problem. A 30’’ or bigger would work. Bigger the better.
Good luck let use know how you make out.

Have been following this thread and was watching Montana PBS last night I think and had no issues. That's the only channel I get on this sat since I have yet to get the AC3 audio. I'm sure I get video on some of the other stations but, without audio it's not something I care to bother with.
Happy Testing!!!

My Ku is horizon to horizon, 61 to 129 on my SG2100, 36" dish. Haven't even tried to dial in Ku on my CBand, 10' unimesh, 87 to 139. Helping out a friend ATM and it's cutting into my TV time big time. My friend just leased a quarter section with a horse arena and it's been neglected for a few years. Have to set up the fencing and water stations to free range the cattle so they can munch down the fields and we can clean up the pastures to let out the horses. Can't let out the horses until all the crap wire in the fields are sorted. Fencing crew was MIA today and buddy is pissed as he could of gone roping and horse trading instead of waiting around for a no show!
Happy Testing!!!

PBS MONTANA is gone again for me. Puttered around this afternoon with a 30 and a 36-inch KU band dish, a viewsat receiver and a captive works 6000s with no results.
All the other channels are coming in strong so I guess they changed the beam. Can just get a small blip of it. Nice sunny warm day.

What are you waiting for Gold. I'm so happy with the azbox ultra hd that almost all my other stb have been put to rest. For example, last Sunday I had a choise of 11 of the 14 NFL games on fta and most in 1080i. Now football may not be your thing, but so many other channels to choose from.

It's that new Ford F150 4x4 I bought the wife, & the new shop has really set me back.
Been saving my spare change for a 36" Ball Screw Actuator before I pick up the receiver:offtopic1::offtopic1::tehe:
