Hi guys i have a Cworks800 running with a SG9120 motor, but lately either the motor or the receiver has been giving me crap, it stops and wont move much,i did reboot, did factory defaults, resets a few times but it acts crazy,i normally after some work and going up on the high roof it starts to work but it wont last long working right,i'm fad up with this motor stuff,i thing i'm going to let it be at 97w and 101w that's the only sat's i could get it to go to.i used the 1.2 discq instead of the usuals, since with the Usuals it wont move nowhere and disrupt the 97w set up.
Anybody has an idea for my problem, i really don't feel like going up on the high roof any good advice would be appreciated

This has been known to happen with the sg2100 as well. The 9120 has a hardware reset button - somewhere near the connectors underneath, I think, Try resetting the motor, maybe? Means one more climb????

That's what i was trying to avoid,

mydish;do you know the diference between using Usuals or Disecq option what's best on the Cworks800?

Sorry, can't help there. I've been using USALS with my CS8100 for 2 years, with only one glitch like yours and fixed it with a reset. I have heard that the CW doesn't always play nice with USALS though.

After you reset the motor, try to adjust your limits on your CW, from your furthest east sat that you can receive, and your furthest west sat, and see what happens.

How long is your coax and what type?

Plain RG-6?
RG-6 with a copper plated steel core?
RG-6 Quad with a copper plated steel core?
RG-6 with a pure copper core?

The first 3 coaxes will have some voltage drop if the run is too long from the receiver to the motor, this can cause problems like you are describing.

Thanks guys i got it going by making factory default and loading 1.3 factory file than went up once more in the roof and manually sent the dish to "0" than did a reset than went to the receiver and instead of using Usuals i used 1.2 diseqc and put in active transponders and got all the Sat's and so far so good.
one thing that did not go so good was that the rubber cap that protects the reset button hole got ripped off of so many pressings on it, so i did moved the protection rubber cap from the small led light to the reset hole and put some dry silicon on the led light hole, and covered the motor with a plastic bag.
anybody know where can i get those protection plastic ruber caps?

The east and west limits are desabled at 61.5 and 125w,
i use sats between 72w and 125w
