I've got a DN sub right now using a SW21 switch and I want to add another antenna/fta receiver to grab a True FTA sat. Can both systems be combined outside somehow into running one sat cable through my wall?

Pretty sure you will need a switch like this to switch back and forth between the DN dish and your FTA dish.

I'm already running both DN LNBs into this switch, so both ports are used up.

I'm not a switch expert but maybe a 34 or 44 switch will be necessary.

I'm thinkin a 64 as the 44 only does 2 sats.It has 4 ports but they are 2 ver 2 hor.The 64 makes it 3 ver and 3hor

With a DPP 44 switch you can run 3 standard DPP LNB's (110W, 119W,129W) and 1 FSS LNB (121W or 118W or 97W) and then the DN sub will go to port #1 output of the switch, the FTA receiver will go to #2 output of the switch, you will need 2 coaxes’ to do this.
To run both receivers off 1 coax is impossible with a subbed receiver and a FTA receiver, they wont play nice together.
You could use a 3 GHz A/B switch but you will have to remove the AC power to both before switching from one receiver to the other, or else you could wind up with a receiver as a door stop.

Thanks terryl, good explaination.....looks like I'll be drilling another hole.

They make twin coax cable, all you have to do is enlarge the existing hole a bit (you can get a wall feed through for 2 coaxes to seal the wall) this way you don’t need a second hole.
