Internet Connection Problem

I'm running a CNX Nano2 through a dedicated laptop computer using dial-up through Netzero. I am able to connect to the Internet with no problem, but after 1 to 1 1/2 hours, I am disconnected from Internet and I have to restart the computer and reconnect to the internet. It is very annoying. I googled my problem and went in made sure all my modem and internet selections were correct. Has anyone experienced a similar problem and how did you solve it? Thanks.

i used to use, download ping2web and give it an address, it basically contacts a website every X seconds to keep the connection alive.

This computer is receiving information every 10 seconds sending commands to the CNX receiver. I also assume that the CNX is requesting informaiton from the source site. But, I will google ping2web, download, and give it a try. Thanks.
