lost 119

hey guys im running a 18 itch round dish with 2 lnb with 110 and 119 setup, my dish must of moved because i lost my 119 and ive been trying to tweek it and cannot find so i thought it was my lnb so i swapped them and still nothing i can find 110 with 95 s and 95 when im moving dish i have it on tp 12997 never gets quality but on some others i get 95 s and 95 q but 119 never appears in the top corner and when i do channel scan ive only picked up cnn, hln and hbo-w dont know what else i can do been trying for days i live in south western ontario canada i always thought 119 was a lil higher to left but cannot find so frustrating

If you have 2 single LNB's for 110 & 119 then you must be running a switch, bypass the switch with a barrel-connector and run the 119 LNB direct to the receiver (use TP 12297) and see if you can lock in 119 that way. Once you get 119 check 110 by running it direct to the receiver aswell. Once both are aimed add in the switch, if you loose anything after adding the switch then the switch might be the problem.

If you still can't get 119 when running direct then check the cable that ran from the 119 LNB to the switch (Also make sure you are selecting the proper LNB-Type in the settings for your LNB).

Once you tune in 110 you need to tilt the dish's skew. Give the dish a little rotation.
sounds like to me that maybe the pole that holds the round part of the dish could have come off of plum. That pole has to be exactly level to tune in both birds.
I am assuming you are using the dish 500 or standard dual lnb DN dish.

ive tried everything still cant lock into 119 i get 110 but 119 no goo for some reason im gonna have to call someone to aim it i cant even get 119 when i try by itself 110 always locks in

Are you sure your using the proper TP to aim with, the first few TP's on 119 are spot-beams so you need to use a TP like 12297 to aim for that sat.

What I would do is take the receiver and a small TV up to the dish and connect direct to the LNB and lock onto 119, then start working down till you hit what is giving you the problem.

yeah im at 12297 tp i went out and bought a satlelite finder and im in the area so close because any further the finder meter goes away, i hooked up my viewsat ultra receiver because i heard its easier to find signal with that then the nano 2, right now at my closest im at 75 s and my q is jumping from 0-10 on tp 12297 and other tps q is a bit higher but nothing is locked in ive bypassed my switch have played with the bracket a bit still nothing my settings are lnb type standard lnb freq 12250 and ive tried with a few diff wires so i know its not them, dunno why its so hard to find this signal and 110 is easy

The lnb frequency should be 11250, unless that is a typo.

BTW... You already have two other threads on this issue. Itr's not a good idea to start other threads because you are going to get similar answers over and over.

What about removing the bracket and putting 119 on the dish-arm by itself and see if you can lock onto 119 that way.

hey guys i went out and played with my dish and now i got 119 but lost one 110 im using the 119 110 bracket with 110 lnb to the right and a lil bit lower im have all right tp freq and swich ports im getting 75 to 80 signal on most tps but no quality do you think my lnb is bad???
