Fridge that won't get cold.

I have an Admiral ultima side by side fridge/freezer. It was purchased in '93 and it just stopped blowing cold air. The motor still works and it still blows air just not cold in the fridge or the freezer. Does it just need coolant or is it time to junk it?

You might try cleaning the coils and such first! If that don't work you might look into getting it serviced. Jd212

Does the compressor at the back of the fridge start and run?
I know the fans are working but if the compressor doesn't start it wont cool.

If it does and there is no cooling at all. Then it sounds like either there is a leak in the system of the compressor itself has failed.

If the compressor doesn't start post a model number and I'll post some pictures of what could be causing the problem.
