Viewguard decoder??

:thumbsup:Hi guys,just out of curiosity,can anybody tell me what is the use for a Leitch Viewguard Decoder VGD-3200E?A relative just handed this unit to me and seems brand new.Maybe it could be used for FTA somehow?Thanks for your help guys!!!!

They are for analog TV signals, wont work on digital satellite FTA signals, it's an old analog satellite encoding/decoding scheme not used around here anymore. (maybe asia?)

People are trying to get $100 for them on E-bay.
