I just got new Netgear rangemax dual band wireless N-router with DSL Modem it works fine but i am not getting good signal.My Laptop is sitting is just two feet away but signals are just 3bars.I call Netgear but they told me G-band don't give good signals.Plese help me i am not good with this kind of things or tell me what kind of DSL Modem is to buy.By the way model is Netgear N-300.

is your wifi secured. if not then you need to lock. the more user of your router the leas signal you will get.

yes it is secure wifi.when i disconnect my laptop from wifi than it show full signals but as soon as i reconnect it i loose signals.may be i will go back to same AT&T modem and get it.

If you get the dsl 2 wire modem, you wont have to worry about a router, its built in the modem. I have about seven wireless (using netgear adapters) running off the 2 wire. The laptop will pick up the modem with a good signal.If you call att they will probable help, if not go on ebay and you can find the modem from 59.00 to 99.00 dollars.
