Is there somewhere to put password in I-pod touch with Wi-fi to allow Internet access for them?

Can you make it work from a fair distance away from the source ?

Thanks.

I think its under the settings option main page.......

you can find the networks there......

the range is very limited with the wifi on ipod touch, but you can go to the main page on your ipod, and tap on settings, and then wifi connection, that will bring up any signal that it picks up , and if there is a secured one, when you click on it , it will then ask for the passkey...hope that helps..

Edit: it will show a little lock beside each network that is secured, if there isn't a lock , then it isn't secured, and you should be able to connect to it without a password

Some places like coffee shops may have there Wi-fi locked, just ask if they give out there password for access, once they give you the password you won't have to ask again, your ipod will open up every time you go there.;)
