I have been using this motor for the past 3 years and no problems until now. I can't get the motor to move using the Nano 2 or NF HD. Would I need to hit a reset button or motor worn out?

Try to use the buttons on the motor itself and see if that will turn it, there might also be a reset button on there, sometimes the circuit board that runs USALS gets fried, but the motor would still turn, but only manually.

Also try turning receiver off, unplug from wall, then disconnect motor cable from receiver, wait a couple of minutes and reconnect and plug in. This might start motor working again. They can get stuck sometimes.

Thanks Maverick,
I tried your suggestions but I think it is dead. No lights on when I went to reset it. Will not move manually. Ordered another, here tomorrow.

The motor has a reset and I can not remember if it's done be holding both motor buttons in for a few sec's of if that unit has a small paper clip type hole for resetting , it's one or the other ?? lol

I just had to reset the other day because my SG2100 was acting sluggish and non-responsive. I thought I was going to have to toss it but it is working fine now.

Press the rubbery button once holding it in and the motor will advance east. Press the button twice holding it in on the second press and the motor will advance west. This is how you zero the motor.

Once the dish is point directly south then you press reset using the paperclip through the tiny hole maneuver. You probably need a small powdering mirror in order to see what your are doing.
