Universal lnbf is compatible, I'm using a universal c/ku lnbf with my 6' setup.

Sure will work, just remember to have the correct LNB Frequency setting(9750/10600MHz). Each receiver is different however most you will need to set the 22KHz to "Auto". And one other thing is that you can not use a 22KHz external switch in your setup for the obvious reason described above.
