Often known as His Purpleness, Prince - born Prince Rogers Nelson - believes that the Internet has seen its heyday and like the video music channel MTV is over.

As a result; Prince, who does not even have an official website, is not releasing his new album "20Ten" in any download form. The album will only be available in CD format. Subscribers of the "Daily Mirror" in the United Kingdom will be treated to a free copy of the album on Saturday. This is not the first time Prince has distributed an album in this manner; back in 2007 Prince gave away copies of "Planet Earth" in the "Daily Mirror".

"I don't see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else. They won't pay me an advance for it, and then they get angry when they can't get it," said Prince.

The rocker has sold over 100 million albums in the past 30 years, still lives in his home town of St. Paul, Minnesota, and believes that computers and other digital gadets do noting bu fill your head with numbers.
