Desktop Switch Off

After switching to ON my desktop computer at home, in after few minutes it switching to OFF by itself. All the Icons will appear and it suddenly switch off the whole thing. Is anybody know please?? Thanks for your help.

A virus scan and checking the cooling fans in a computer are good places to start if your machine shuts itself off frequently.

Also check the fan inside the power supply.

I have seen this 100's of times and it was simply the power cord being lose or worn. Start there. Try replacing the cord and see if that helps.
If you try a new cord and the same result then my money is on the power supply saying I'm about to go on a permanent holiday soon.
