View Full Version : Buzztv Classic Anniversary Edition
I have short-listed two brands of IPTV devices, as I am updating my old Dreamlink T2.
Not sure if I can name the other one here, but I have been advised of the BUZZTV CLASSIC ANNIVERSARY EDITION
The specs look impressive on paper, some of these specs are among others:
Operating System - Android OS 11
CPU - Amlogic S905X4 Quad-core 64-bit Cortex-A55
RAM - 4GB DDR4
Storage - 64GB eMMC
USB - 2.0 (1)
USB 3.0 (1)
Output Resolution - 4K (3840x2160)
Remote - BT-250 Remote Control
If anyone has used this particular Buzztv Classic Anniversary Edition, I would like to hear from you, and your comments.

I haven't used the Anniversary Edition but I have the regular classic device which I use. It has never let me down and I think it's my favorite buzz.
The specs on the Anniversary Edition look great and I think it will look great hooked up next to your television screen, it's a great choice!

I also have a Buzz classic which I won here and is our living room and I also have a Buzz XRS 4900 which really is my favorite dependable box ever. Both are good choices and you wont be disappointed.

I don't have the Anniversary edition, but I do have the original Classic.
In my opinion it has been the best bang for the buck, and pretty sure the new Anniversary edition will be the same now. It is the box the I recommend the most to pretty much all my family, friends and colleagues. It's stable and it just works.
The Anniversary edition, just builds on top of the original. Has the same CPU, same RAM and onboard storage. It gets an upgraded Wi-Fi to Wi-Fi 6 (AX), and remote goes from a BT250 to a BT350 (which adds a mic and backlight to the 250). Oh and it gets the gold color scheme. Don't think I forgot anything.
I believe the anniversary edition was initially tagged for Android 13 when it was first announced, but at launch ended up also getting Android 11 (if I am not mistaken). Some people may not like that it stuck with Android 11, but personally, I don't see an issue with it. It just works, and has been proven on the whole 5 series line for many years. Why mess with a good recipe. I have yet to find an app that "needs" Android 13 anyhow.
