A Little hard to Bend the Boxspring in Half, unless you cut it down the middle, .........lol

Try getting an Alaskan king size box spring up a set of stairs with a landing half way up, couldn't do it, had to take it back and have a custom 2 piece made, the mattress folded up fine, it was still a tight squeeze.

Also looked at all upstairs windows, didn't want to use a chain saw to widen the only possible window.

every king I've owned had a 2 piece box spring
when the one queen bed got replaced we got a 2 piece box spring
