no picture or sound

setting up this new box and not getting a picture or sound? Have 2 servers connected with all info, do i have to change players or what? If so where do I find it?? thanks...

It's happened to me on a few occasion after a clean install.
Unplugged the box, plugged it back in, and all was good. Seems there might be some sort of situation/timing issue that it does not properly initialize some subsystem. When that happens to me, I can't even play a youtube video either :)

Trying to find a way to reproduce it, so it can be reported and fixed, but so far, no formula to reproduce.

Change media player in config settings.

Keep in mind that right now, there are plenty of Canadian ISP that are blocking many streams, so message of Video format not supported, may actually be a stream that is being blocked (especially in the evenings or during sporting events). You can always "try" to use a VPN and see if that helps.

For LiveTV, the Primary player is the "preferred" player, but if the issues persist, you can try the "backup" player.
