EPG issues

I got a few of these since dreamlinks tanked . Any way I was pleased with this unit until recently . Can't seem to get the guide to fill in at all . Keeps saying loading . I am not getting freezing in the picture , just crappy epg and only recently . Is it the server , the box or my internet provider ?

How would i check this ? I've had this unit for a while and all was good . Now i watch it all the time , have a couple different servers to play with .

i am using mac , when i got this hooked up i gave the server provider the mac number only , i haven't messed with api i don't know what that is . i see it there

XC API is user name/password access.

I agree.. Too bad some popular services still only offer MAC.

So after all this discussion I still got no epg . what server or method do I need to have some reasonable epg on my tv . This was fine until a couple of days ago . I need to do something because I have a few of these running .

Have you tried clearing epg?

He never mentioned the server name. Not all panels have that option to switch without entering a new line.

Well , i fixed it . Remember i have a few of these and some of them are working fine , so i didn't think it was server related . It was my router , that sucker was five years old . All is good now .

just happened exactly as OP with two of our HD5 units. after 4th reboot they started to load. our frind did not reboot network but that what I told him to do but he did not. he was keep rebooting the box and finally it kicked in. I told him to reboot network next time if happens again. :)
