My buddy just got one of these so I thought I'd try it in place of my T5 and compare it.
IKS configured ok and easy.
Blind scan on 82 but doesn't find all transponders.
It's supposed to be HD Turbo 8PSK compatible but something is wrong somewhere with what I'm doing.
Anyone had any success with this one?
Never heard of that box but is there a setting for Turbo8PSK? Also does it have slot(s) for add on board(s)?
Looks to be an Android box for FTA, no Turob8PSK support.

there quite a few of these boxes that do iks and especially ccam many do iptv and tvheadend as well
a few weeks back i saw on the gt-media forum formally freesat that a member made a channel list
for 91 on the gt-media v8 even though the manufacture says its not supported he says hes getting channels
but it will not scan for the channels they are just there if i remember the conversation was on the gt-media forum
but directed to the techkings sat forum.but yeah more changes coming someone special allegedly knows the plans
but thats rumors.

everything is going to need a module and software that can handle the changes

i wouldnt waste my money on it either when and if they come up with a module and software you bet it will be expensive
not worth it to me anymore nothing but crap on tv anymore anyway i only watch old repeats from yester year.

The V9 does not do turbo. Works fine on 91. EPG not great. A great receiver for $40 Can and if you have a big dish, powervu is in the clear these days on 125. Also works great as a sat finder.
