Im setting up a new classic for a friend and I'm trying to use aptoide to install vlc player but it won't install. It shows it there but when I hit install, it just sits there. Does the same thing when trying to update youtube. Technically, I can't install anything or update any apps.
Any ideas why?
Thanks

vlc should already be installed
to install apps you have to allow unknown sources

I think I hit no to all those but said you can change later, but couldn't find where to do it. vlc isn't in the apps. section.

Can it be side-loaded from/off a USB flash drive ? Put VLC on a usb stick and load/install it from there ?

Got it to sideload after a few attempts. Then was able to update it.
Weird thing also, there was already a favorites section with channels when I set the server up. First time I ever saw that. I have always had to put a few channels in the favs in to make the category show up.
Thanks for the sideload idea also!
