Somehow these channels not working on the 4900 but yet they work on my mobile device using an iptv app.

This is with wickediptv. I have tried changing the player, reboot device and internet but they just don't work. Use the same sub on my phone and they work.

you might need to reboot for change to take
even if I pick auto it uses hls

Just tested on my 4900 and tried the the first 20 channels, and most of them work. OK, had 2 or 3 that don't. And there are a few that took about 4 or 5 seconds to start streaming. I suspect they are stream on demand, so the stream feeds only when there is a need. Because going back to them after they started streaming once, was near instantaneous.

I even watched a little bit of the Toronto game and caught the tying goal with the delayed penalty.

The later channels are not streaming anything, but I suspect there are no events on those for now.

BTW: What sw version number do you have on your 4900 ?

I left my format setting on automatic and they popped in with the same results as Emporium wrote about. No need to change to hLS model of box e5
