Anyone on here have a service manual they can share for Sony XR-65A80J?. Got 4 flashing red lights. Changed the power board already.

From reading on the Sony forums, they say you should also change out the Tcon Board & reload the
Latest Firmware/software, some also say it is a Heat Issue on the main Board, and having a fan/fans blowing
air onto board etc. solved it also ?
Personally I Stay far away from Sony & Panasonic, because those two put their own software/firmware crap on their
stuff forcing you to use their equipment to be compatible.

Good luck, but you can start by looking here...

Some service manuals are very hard to come by.

Exactly right, the days of Sony being good quality is long gone. Made the mistake a couple years ago. Bought a Sony flat screen for the bedroom......toast in 6 months.

I have now changed the power board and T-con board with no success. I have figured out the problem. The main board sits on 4 cooling pads. These cooling pads are breaking down and producing an oily film on the back of the main board. This is obviously causing a short. I don't see any evidence to suggest any burns or anything so if I could cleanup the board it might still work. I hope someone here could suggest something to spray on the board to remove the oil. Also if I buy a new board can someone suggest a better cooling pad? This is a very expensive tv, it's a shame that sony went cheap on the cooling pads causing destruction after a year.

If there is enough space available you might be able to mount some cooling fans where the pad was blowing air
on the board, or possibly a different kind of cooling pad (laptop, or something similar)
