This is hard to explain:
Whatever receives commands from the Remote is only receiving in 10-second increments, which means it takes more than 15 minutes to select the channel I want to watch. Very frustrating.
I count to ten then press Up/down, wait 10 seconds and press again. If I press up/down more than Once, it will run up/down the guide 50 channels at a time.
It’s almost impossible to change channels. If I enter channel 420, it only excepts 2 digits at one time, so it goes to channel 42.
Any ideas please?
I had too many recordings, so I thought by deleting most of them it would free up the co-processor to stop this madness, but that didn’t work. 🧨

is the bt-200 paired?
if so what does it show for battery percentage?
do you have external storage connected? if yes, then when you attached external storage did you format while storage was in device? if yes, did you move system app into external?
also, try to clear your cache from buzz app.

Yes it’s paired and I replaced batteries 4 days ago.
When I try to use remote for volume or mute, it’s the same thing. I have to count to 15 now and it will only take one response.
If I use another remote to control volume or mute, it works perfectly. I’ve never seen anything like this. This buzztv is in “retard-mode”!

Yes I added a 1TB HD but it never asked me to format. But even if it did, it would take me an hour to set it up! I only have control for 15 seconds at a time, and if I press a button too soon, I have to wait another 15-seconds to do anything.
Yes, I will try to clear cache. That’s a good idea. The only other thing that would work is clearing data, but then I would have to set-up my favorites and PVR Recordings again. I’m not looking forward to that, but this is kicking my azz! ��
Update: I cleared cache and did a force stop, but it only shaved 5-seconds off the remote receiving time, so now it’s down to 10 seconds response time.
NOT ALLOWED!!!

Your second question was battery strength? It would take about 10-minutes to get to that info, lol.

Yes, the top pair of volume buttons work in real-time.
I was using the bottom volume buttons that only work 1-click every 15 seconds.
I also re-paired the bt-200 remote, I’m sorry to say that didn’t work. It shows it’s paired anyway.

Yes, I know you will have to reconfigure it.

Yea, I unpaired it last night, but it's stuck-on-stupid. Maybe it's because I leave it on all-day for the dogs so the house isn't so quiet. Although it always freezes-up during the day anyway. It also gets a little too hot, IMO so I'm thinking it could have fried something being so hot. Maybe the next great idea would be for a CPU Heat-Sink.
Yes, I think it's time to do that again. I had to do that just recently because it wouldn't except the new Ver update.:rolleyes:

you added the 1tb drive in the bottom holder?
if it isn't ssd it will run hot and cause issues
I used to get lots of freezing until I installed an ssd

Thanks that’s good to know, unfortunately I added this USB HD as a way to problem solve, thinking maybe I used-up all the internal space and that’s why it was running so slow.
I did the factory-reset and it’s the same slow-mo issue, but now I can’t enter my wireless router password. It won’t allow me past the screen where it tells you to blue-tooth your Remote. I can press GUIDE and get to Server Settings but that’s it.
My remote is already paired but the box doesn’t know it and since I can only enter one digit at-time, it looks like I’m at the end of the road, but still optimistic. Could be worse, I could be in jail.

It crashed hard on this screen so I’m looking at Buzz TV 5 on the right side of the screen, it says, “Storage used”
46.71 MB used in Internal shared storage.
Other than that all I have access to are Server settings and Configuration settings/app settings & other settings. It’s a door-stop

Can someone help me get a response from BuzzTV? I sent the info on their website for repair/replacement/RMA filled out the form but haven't heard anything back in 3 days. Maybe just need more time? :noidea:

Keep in mind that many companies are running with short staff this past week due to the holiday long weekend. Since it falls on the weekend, Some companies have Friday off, others the Monday (some both since they add their floating holidays to give employees more time off). And since school is out for most kids since last week, many parents take the week off for vacation. Or at least a couple of extra days to make "super" long weekends.
Here in Quebec it is even worse, since we also had last weekend off also, due to our "Fête nationale - aka St Jean Baptiste holiday". 2 long weekends back to back, many take 4 days vacation to bridge the 2 long weekends, and end up getting 10 days off (3 days for first long weekend, 4 days vacation, and 3 days second long weekend), and only costs them 4 days of vacation.
I know in my office we are barely at 50% staff during this past week. And this coming week, I'm sure won't be much better, since since we are closed Monday, and then Tuesday we have our US colleagues that are off for the 4th of July (which can sometimes be a week off for them also). Not much will get done, it is just skeleton staff on emergencies mostly.
I know it can be frustrating, but be patient. It is just bad timing. Everyone it taking a well deserved vacation/time off.

Agreed, but with many companies taking the Friday off (the 30th), combined with high school exams running from the 22-28, depending on when their kids all finish, many families have taken the last week as a vacation week. And for "smaller" offices, it doesn't take many people to take time off that it affects day to day "normal" operations.
But I am surprised that no automated response at least. That is typically nearly instant.
Anyhow, just saying.

Okay I got it working.
BuzzTv help desk told me what to do and I need a new remote. It was the remote that crapped-out. If anyone wants to know how I did it, I can go into detail, but for now, it's the remote that needs replacing.
