Has anyone here used LED strip lighting under there overhead cabinets in the kitchen?
Did you have a recess in the cabinet for the strip lighting or did you stick it direct to the bottom of the cabinet?

Anyone with closeup pictures would be appreciated.

LED light strips for the kitchen look stylish. Indeed, it's really helpful when you're cooking. But I have no clue how to install them. People say it's easy, but I need a more detailed guideline.

I'm new on the forum, and I can totally relate to your kitchen lighting dilemma! LED strip lighting under overhead cabinets sounds like a fantastic idea. Not only does it provide functional lighting, but it also adds a stylish touch to your kitchen. While I haven't personally tried it yet, I'm currently giving my house a small makeover and have been exploring different lighting options. During my online research, I came across a website that offers a variety of LED Fixtures & LED Puck Lights. They seem to have a wide range of options to suit different styles and preferences. I'm definitely considering giving them a try for my kitchen lighting upgrade.

watch "This Old House" they have shown remodel jobs where they install under cabinet lighting, if i recall right some are in a track and some are stick on, and then running power to the lights is another matter, the need for a transformer to reduce the 120v to 5vdc , i do not recall seeing how they turned them on/off
