I have used Kodi and IPTVSimple Client for several years to view WickedIPV on my computers, however,
since the recent issues and the migration to the new servers I am unable to load the EPG.
In addition when I try to watch a station it opens and then kicks me out after 6-8 seconds of viewing.
Sat9182 sent me an amended m3u url and epg url with the same results.
This occurs running Kodi 19.3 in Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux on two different computers.
Is anybody else experiencing a similar problem or even still using Wicked on a PC with Kodi?
Any ideas would be appreciated. I am baffled.
Interestingly enough, It does work in VLC but of course without an EPG.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I haven't used Kodi in ages, but Have you considered using IPTV Smarters native windows app ?
Not saying it is not without it's own issues, but does load all channels, plays and it does have full 7 days EPG. Just tried it on my Win10 laptop. Windows version 1.1.1 available directly from the main Smarters web page.
I'm still experimenting with my old Buzz XPL3000. The new wicked server does not play too well with BuzzTV 2.
On the xpl3000, Tying to use XC login, it does eventually load the channel list and the full 7 day EPG, but none of the streams seem to work (tried all 3 available players). Trying to use the m3u_plus url, well that on the xpl3000 seems to connect and saying loading channels, movies, etc... But never works, it eventually bails out. Use the basic M3U url (ie: no categories, movies, etc..) and that seems to work. But obviously couple of thousand channels with no epg, no categories and no tvg-id to match to an EPG xml is not fun to deal with.
Using something like IPTV smarters on the xpl3000, seems to work fine. I know others using Tivimate on it now (since the built in app does not work with wicked), and that seems to work fine also.
Works fine on all my newer buzz boxes however. But obviously it is not 100% backwards compatible to older implementations, on older boxes. Once the migration is complete, we'll see how it goes. Still many things in progress.

so that's less of a resource hog than a browser or kodi?

try the web player
Thanks DU. I tried the web player and it does work.
I see a very limited EPG but will play with it a bit to see what it is capable of doing.

Thanks Emporium. I will look for smarters 1.1.1 as you suggest. The 7 day full EPG would be great a great asset.
Kodi and IPTV Simple Client had a modest 24 hour EPG but at least it had and EPG.
Thanks for the input guys.
Will keep you informed.

Well, less resource hog than Kodi ? I'd say yes. The native windows client is surprisingly pretty decent and relatively light. In the past where everyone would recommend bluestacks and android emulators to run these apps, it was ridiculous. With the native windows client now it is pretty decent (and I am not one to like smarters typically).
Less resource hog than Firefox ? OK I give you that :) But The native IPTVSmarters may be more friendly to navigate with a remote (I have not tried remote on windows&firefox. If using just a mouse/keyb, then web client works quite well. I use it often when I'm in the office. It's the one thing that is not blocked on our corporate firewall :)

yeah like really troubled pointed out its the sfvip player
made by salezli.you know you have to watch out for the apps
you use many of them have a database that collects whatever
info you enter into them.salezli doesnt do what these other
ppl do he updates but is a clean install.the player does what
others dont. i like the logos too set them up from the ones included
in the directory or use your own.the epg is very good large text
easy to read no need to enter any info ever yeah its made by
a hacker for hackers it does have the tools to combat ecm`s lol
i use it both on my htpc but also mirror it to my samsung
on my samsung i have the open sourced Onn box with the voice
remote on the samsung i set up the sfvip player so that the voice
remote works with it real easy to use.

yup works well but the web players are a high risk
cause if a hacker gets in they can "get" header info then they have everybody.
from their point of view why scan for individuals when its all
there on the web player or some of it anyway...
