Hello:

I just bought a 9x8.5 vinil shed from Coxtco. I have read information about different kinds of foundations, from which I feel going with the gravel and patio stones.
Some information involving patio stones mention a ladder base on top of it and some other don't.
Does anybody know if only gravel and patio stones will be good enough for the foundation.

Thanks in advance!

gravel and patio stones should work fine for base....but can it stands a strong blast of winds?

how about adding a poured cement posts with nuts & bolt to hold the shed.:noidea:

My neighbor's steel shed was secured to patio stones.
It worked well for years until a wind storm awakened me to several thumps outside.

The shed had lifted, with much of the contents, flew 100 feet, over a fence, into our air conditioner (totalled), off the eavestrough, around the house, over another fence and came to rest sideways on our deck leaning against the crushed eavestrough.

Concrete slabs are better.

You mean pour cement posts after the whole thing has been set up? It makes sense mostly after reading sneerboy's neighbor experience.

if you seen how the deck posts have been poured and i think four corners will hold enough.
here is the image to give you some ideas.
