Getting a lot of issues with ok2 with buffering or not working. I know an easy solution is use a VPN
Just curious if a logical solution is ro switch to ok3 or ok4 or just rock the vpn.
Just looking for opinions is all. If anyone has switched and enjoy it and works better and all that jazz.

IMO you should already be using a vpn

It's cheap. Worst case, why not just try a month of OK3 or OK4 in parallel and see if you prefer it.
Keep in mind that OK3 and OK4 are ONLY MAC subs as far as I know. No XC/M3U. So keep that in mind.
If you are already using a MAC sub with OK2, then no difference to you. If you are using a user/pass type of sub, then that will be a little difference, depending on the device you are using.

Using Mac sub with OK2 and OK3. On STB Emu and Mac device.
On some international categories OK2 works better. Shorter freezes but continues to play ok, watchable. On OK3 it will freeze and image will stay frozen. Unwatchable. Have to change channel and go back. This is regardless of the player in STB emu and device.
English channels are fine on both OK2 and OK3.

Ok so maybe this is stated somewhere but if I were a user pass system how do you go about adding macs to everyone if I switch to ok3/4. Feel like eventually I'll have to so just getting ahead of the curve.
Ok2 has been great for so long

who told you that you can switch without purchasing?

And for switching without purchasing ? you can't switch/convert an active connection as far as I know.
I'm assuming he means that as clients subs expire, he would push them toward a MAC sub, instead of renewing a user/pass sub.
I only have 3 or 4 user/pass subs, most are MAC. But, those 3 or 4, would be difficult to switch, since the reason they took a user/pass in the first place was because they use it on AppleTV or iPad devices, where most MAC sub apps are junk on that platform. At least on AppleTV they can use IPTV Smarters. Not the best app, but at least it is useable.
But if you are a reseller, there is a comment in the panel to at least help resellers wanting to migrate to ok3/4 and have piles of unused credits on ok2 panel. This is only of unused credits.
Ever since the world cup is over, most of my subs are not complaining. And many recently renewed, so it is obviously not that bad for them.

then they just need to get the mac addy's and switch when it's time to renew
no one should expect that a reseller or otherwise would go thru the hassle of manually switching everything over
their customers paid a service and still have access to what they paid for
if customers want to flip from ok2 to ok4 that's on the customer
you don't get a refund cause your burger went cold while eating it...lol
Streaming lines will not be renewed
