Has anyone had success getting the OK3 EPG to work on TiviMate?

Using OK3 on TiviMate and the service is great, but the EPG won't load showing No Information.

I have access to STB Emu as well with another service, but I would prefer to use TiviMate as its UI is cleaner and faster than STB Emu. However, if I can't get the EPG working, I won't have a choice but to try it on STB Emu

Legit paid version, or the archaic hacked version that was floating around and EPG was hit&miss and needed to constantly backup, uninstall, then reinstall and restore :) ?

Legit Paid Version.... Tried the uninstall/reinstall/restore trick and that didn't work

A suggestion, ask your provider to switch you over to OK4. You would need to switch a 3 to a 4 in the Url in Tivimate and then enjoy the Guide. The channels are mostly the same with the exception of some international programming that you may not need.

I'll look at that if I can't get the guide to work. Just switched over to STB Emu from TiviMate to see if its OK3 or if it's TiviMate

So the guide works fine on STB Emu for OK3.

Why does it work on STB Emu, but not TiviMate. I'd prefer to use TiviMate, but no EPG is kinda of a non-starter.

Did Alex every confirm if her fixed the EPG issue in recent versions ?
At one point the Tivimate user agent was banned from many servers, since the EPG update would make like 1000s of requests in short period (not much different than a DDOS attack). Any app that will put a huge tax on server performance needlessly will certainly get filtered by many.

Then maybe that is a sign that it is time to look for a new program if the author does not respond. Services don't adjust to the 100s of programs and boxes out there. The programs need to fix their bugs to accommodate the servers. Tivimate as I mentioned above had 1 HUGE bug for EPG, that would bring many servers to their knees, and hence was blocked by many. I never saw a confirmation that it was fixed either. Just piles of speculation.

Maybe time to buy a BuzzTV box :) I can tell you that I recently tested the new entry level BuzzTV B5 and the slightly better E5, and they are both quite impressive for entry level boxes. The integrated Buzztv 5 software is all you need. And with current ongoing xmas coupons, the E5 can be had for about CDN$135 tax and shipping included within north america directly from the buztvglobal site.

not to mention if your internet already struggles with lack of speed and bandwidth TiviMate pulling epg all the time will make your experience glitchy and choppy

we had to adapt our service epg for this issue as there was way to many people using TiviMate
TiviMate 4.5.1 was the worst of them for doing it but other versions still do it too

I dont have ok3 to test I have 5 services on tivimate's latest update,Im not having an epg issue with any of them. There is plenty of settings within tivimate to adjust if you are having issues. You can contact tivimate on telegram they have a support site or reddit as mentioned earlier.
