Not sure how but it seems to be affecting certain accounts more than others. I have tested other mac addresses on my device and not many channels are working. If I switch to my account I seem to get more channels but definitely not all.

Yes, I agree. But if my mac address is working and I use someone else's on the same network that would rule out the isp. Which this isn't the case. I then created a new account through the portal and it was working fine on the exact same network.

Reset that portal before you try it. Could be a locked token or something on server end.
Vpn solves every one of my clients that are effected by this. Regardless of provider. I've had a few bitch about spending the money, I laugh. It's still an eighth of the price of a monthly cable bill. After that is mentioned to them they seem to be ok with it. I've lost a few clients becuase of this, and quite frankly, was waiting for something like this because they are usually the loudest about problems. Most of the time, it's on their end to boot. Lol... I hope everyone sorts out their issues, best of luck.

its hard to pin point the problems with iptv and why it works for some
and not others.there could be many explainations for whats happening
with ok2.for those who dont know and plz dont shoot the messenger
many theories have been mentioned isp,vpn,but little about securtity
which iptv lacks.for those whom dont know sorry but ok2 has been model

Nowadays I have also seen MAC subs with user/passwd combo (which I think is great). And many implement tokenization which marries to a box upon first connection. Do all the servers implement these features ? no.

Now for panels, it is harder. It's typically just user/pass. Would be nice to have some 2FA, but the "anonymous" nature makes it a little more complicated. But obviously not impossible.

It's typically a calculated risk. And as usual, this is a cat & mouse game for this hobby.

thats my point its when they do try to protect the streams with tokens {gbox states} which is what ok2 and others do they
redirect the streams too this is when problems can happen so your wrong here because it is a possibility one thing
running a straight m3u8 probably wont have the problems that they are having im willing to bet

also why "great" they can be solved too its just a combo/wordlist you can add an unlimited amount of characters
in any combination also serial,device id`s firmware stb model all can be found and played backed in numerous players
more old news lol that goes back a lot further than 5+ years.
