Since my updates on my X5 and HD5 I no longer have any volume control on the boxes.

Is it possible that "force MAX Volume" got enabled ? Settings->BuzzTV Utilities->Volume Control.
Depends on "how" you control the volume. If you depend on the internal box volume, then you want this disabled. If you use volume control on a TV or sound bar, then you probably want this enabled.

I guess this should be in the XRS 4900 section. I don't have a smart remote app on the XRS4900.

I have been trying everything. Volume way up but it seems no audio from the STB. Nothing in my setup has changed since it took the update this morning.

When you try to change volume, do you see the volume slider on the screen showing that it is increasing/decreasing ?
When watching a program on LiveTV, if you press the left button on the Dpad, do you get a subtitles and Audio overlay ? If so, do you have anything listed in the audio section ?

The lower volume buttons show the volume bar. The top vol buttons do nothing.

If you go into Settings->Audio Output, what is your Digital Audio format set to ? Try setting it to Auto or PCM...

Hey guys, thanks for trying to help me. It's working now!!! :yeaah:
I was going to try it on another TV... I moved the HDMI cable to another TV and the audio was working so I plugged it back to the first TV and the sound was back on. Must have been an issue with the HDMI connection.
All is good now, thanks.
