i use the sf-vip player i add to the playlist
after i edit an existing vlc playlist

I got all the right tools you suggested , loaded the links into notepad , added M3U as files name , dumped the list into vlc than downloaded the list , Now that the player has the list , In the details area to the right there is no info on all 3000 channels and when i hit play i get Load error ?.. Only displays UNTITLED in brackets

Without seeing how your list is formatted i wouldnt know i have never ran across a load error

try this list name it ppvmovies.m3u place it on your desktop should have the vlc cone
double click on it to start vlc.
