I've installed tivimate and the m3u file from my provider but I noticed after it can be install or used through live tv on the X5. All is working fine except the EPG is not populating it only says no information available and all the channels are there and working but no EPG with description available. What am I doing wrong

why not use XC API option? your m3u file has your portal, username, and password. just type in your portal, username, and password in XC API option and you are good to go.

they can still use m3u
what they don't need is a 3rd party app

Are you using Tivimate, or LiveTV (BuzzTV 5) app built into the X5 ?

If you are using Tivimate, then time to go visit some Tivimate forums.

If you are using the built in BuzzTV 5 LiveTV app, then there are a few questions:

If you are entering the M3U URL, are you also entering a separate XML EPG URL ? Or does your M3U list contain the url-tvg tag ?

I have never tried it, but not sure if BuzzTV5 supports the embedded #EXTM3U url-tvg="hxxp://myepg.testserver.com/coucou.xml" style tags for embedded definition of XML EPG. And if it does, does it support multiple xml (typically comma separated) ? Does it support ZIPPED or GZIPPED versions also ?

I have always used an explicit XML EPG URL, so can't confirm if the embedded tags are supported, and if so, to what extent/features.
