Cruise ship grounded after striking underwater obstacle........

MS World Discoverer was a cruise ship designed for & built by Schichau Unterweser in 1974..the ship was completed in Bremerhaven. In 2000, the ship struck an underwater obstacle & was damaged; it was subsequently grounded to prevent sinking and abandoned in the Solomon Islands.
