I guess any one of those trck brands would have a purpose and spot in the market place, but a true highway truck has to be able to 8 to 9 hundred km a day.Anything less than that adds substantial delivery time.

I've seen ridiculous line-ups for charging stations in the U.S.Elon doesn't mention that in his sales pitch.Next he will selling electric boats to a nation that has no water....and stupid people will...

this is terrible. how long will it take to drive 1500 miles, right now 2 days. after 4 to 5.
Can't wait to see the battery explosions and flying burning acid from these that can't be extinguished like the buses.
with a whopping 10 year battery life we should should have destroyed soil heavily in 20 to 30 years from burying them. it takes more oil to extract for the batteries in one year than our entire years consumption.
there are better ways but this is not it. what for infrastructure? we'll need more charging stations than fuel stations, how do you collect road tax? what's the system? these dummies jumping off a cliff without looking

There won't be any truckers left in the near future.

batteries are extremely heavy, at least the lead ones, use to maintain 2.2V, 100 batteries UPS system, needed a lift to put them in place, floors had to be real strong for the extra weight, do not see batteries as the future , now if you want to supply power then start looking at fuel-less generators.

There is a company close by to me that is producing generators using metal plates with some sort of finish on them, not sure what. The plates vibrate on each other. The back forth on the metal with the coating creates the energy. No fuel, no c02. The plates need refinished every so often.

They're great while they last.My good friend is a Ford tech at a local dealership. He says they have ecoboost engines apart in every available square foot of shop space. They have serious internal issues.

I have 160K on the Expedition and lots of towing heavy - never had a problem. My previous Exp had the V8 and worked harder towing and used a bit more fuel.
