I pulled a Corvair engine & resealed it back in the mid 70's...what a pos that was.

I knew a guy on Cape Cod years ago that had an airboat with a corvair engine.

one of the best air cooled engines are the Wisconsin, the ones made for farm machinery and arc welders, they would run all day, i think they were V4, i always thought they would be a good replacement for some poor designed ones in cars

They also had plenty of unused bolt holes & studs, where you could readily afix a chain...& use them as boat anchors.
Unsafe at any speed. That's the car that made Ralph Nader famous.
