Just received a message that there is a new 5X update available. Has anyone tried loading the update? A little hesitant to load after the last update.

Too late, I took the update and now it's stuck at the SARO logo.

I just went to recovery screen and selected boot from bootloader
after reboot logo disappeared after a few seconds

pin reset to get to recovery screen
unplug power
push button down with a toothpick and hold
plug in and wait for recovery screen before releasing button

I took it late this afternoon and no problem at all on a HD5 with 128 gb of memory

I didn``t load the new file so don`t know what version it is.

keep in mind this only affected a couple of dozen users and will be fixed

This also happened to my XR4000 today...I know its a different buzz box but will the pin on the bottom trick do it for me also as Im stuck on the logo flashing on/off every 5 seconds or so. Has auto updates turned on.
Last update before today was July 23.

Yeah, figured that out when I couldn't find it on the bottom...lol.
Well, did the reboot from bootloader but now just the regular Buzz TV logo is on the screen, no flashing or anything, just sitting there.

That seemed to work. I checked the updates and it tried to update so I powered it down while downloading. Should I keep an eye out here to see when a newer update it available? Im at the update for January as of right now.

the x5 update has nothing to do with the buzztv update for other models

January is where its at after the factory reset. If I try to update buzz 5 it again, won't it try to install the July 26 update and get the logo stuck on the screen again?

you could've got a corrupted download
