Hi all I was just wondering if any one from this site that uses the Justin TV site has been having problems with Lag issues? When I visit the help forum on the Justin TV site they seem to think that Bell did something effect the isp of all the bell users so we can no longer get a good stream on Justin TV, would this even be legal or possible? It seem strange because we all have the same issues, we all use Bell or a version of internet that connects to Bell and none of us have a issue on any other streaming sites or movie sites. I thought I would ask here as this site seems to have a lot of members who are very computer savvy. Just in case the issue does not get solved on Justin Tv does anyone no of another site like Justin Tv, It is one of my favorites and I would like to find a site like it. I wonder if it has a competing site? :noidea:

PS:I hope it is ok that I posted this here as it is kind of a internet / possible Website issue?
THANK YOU for any help or opinions :awe:

Bell internet has been throttling internet users for a long time, if you do a speed test on bell you will se that you never hit the advertised speeds.. Best bet is to change providers..

Ill test it for you today.
At work I don't have bell. At home I do.
I never had any issues with bell. Always get my 12mg.

Ill test the difference.
Let ya know by end day.

Streams fine on a non Bell 1.5 Mbs line

When I get home Ill test on my 12 Mbs line.
If it runs like ass then it would be safe to assume your probably right.

It seems to be working fine for now at least, I hope it stays fixed. Not sure If it was fixed on the Justin Tv end or the Bell end However I just wonted to say Thank You to all of you that took time to answer my e mail. I was worried I was going to loose one of my Favorite sites next to this one of course. Thank you to Soah for looking at different internet suppliers to see if the issue was on more then just Bell, but I think it might have been fixed before you tested it. I tried a internet supplier called North 1 at a business where I live and they had the same issue, but that was early in the am. I also read that some people with Shaw cable had the Lag problems as well so it could have been a issue with ths Justin TV site causing issues in Canada still not sure though. Well as I said earlier I hope it stays fixed and thank for your help. :yeaah:

I can tell ya this.
I think the streaming is not the problem. My download stream was around 125k. That's close to a T1. Crappy for my line but enough to stream video.

How ever it is extremely choppy on my computer but its not do to with internet speeds its because my computer can't keep up with that site.

My cpu usage goes through the roof when on that site.
I tried another computer with dual core and same thing. It did a better job,
wasn't to bad but, it too had high cpu usage and was slow to navigate.

At work there was no issues because I am running an I7, Can keep up no problem.

Perhaps they just added something like flash content or something that is to hard for most people's computers to run right.

Ill retry next week after I upgrade this box.
