Was building a windows based htpc and was wondering what peoples favorite windows iptv players were?? Was thinking of going with iptv smarters but wondering if there were any other people liked better, something with a good epg, easy setup, etc

Either Smarters or stbemu work fine.The bottleneck is Bluestacks I find.It's a bit of a resource hog, & does it's best with a good htpc.

i have tried them all sfvip player without any doubt the best windows based player there is.

can do an unlimited amount of services never have to enter epg.
based on vlc player no blue stacks you can mirror the player to
your smart tv.

you're far better off going the htpc route the adriod game is all about $$ personally id rather put the $$
into good htpc that can do what andriods cant you'll have much cleaner closet too and a bigger wallet.

no but usually someone who prefers htpc is trying to avoid androids
blue stacks just isnt as good as sfvip in my opinion others may have a different one
but to me it makes more sense to invest in a htpc rather than adroid boxes that are limited
to what they can do as compared to a htpc.

well I tried the windows version of iptv smarters, pretty disappointing, no epg guide or recording feature of any kind, googled a couple other window players for screenshots etc, didn't really find one with a decent epg/recording feature like a buzz or dish box. Was thinking of trying bluestacks with tivimate premium, the epg and recording feature looked the most promising of what I'v found so far

looks like they took iptv smarters off the google play store, downloaded bluestacks and tried to load iptv smarters but it always directed me to iptv smarters movies with no tv side, I guess I could try sideloading it, not having good luck with these windows players lol altho I did get smarters windows version going just no epg or any way to record or anything, gonna try myiptv player next
