Authentication problem

I have ok3, and I keep getting a message, authentication problem, then the box freezes. The only way to get it working again is to reboot, then 10 minutes it starts again with the freeze and the AP message. Any ideas? Thanks.

I got it rebooted, and it is still doing it, maybe it is the box, but kodi runs fine on it. I use StbEmu, maybe it is the program.

If you are using STBEmu (ie: something where you can change the MAC), try changing MAC and ask your Reseller to change it in the panel. Maybe someone has hijacked your MAC :(

Hi there funny thing one person I know has the same problem. I reset it on the server and even got him to delete the profile redid it all and still the same. So maybe changing the mac might work ? They are running a T95 box.

Maybe try to uninstall STB emu and reinstall it make sure you have the latest version. If that dont work it kinda sounds like it could be the box

I suggest using an unused mac that's different from the 1 you are using now.Have your provider give you a known open mac to use.

Thanks guys, I Uninstaller the program, and reinstalled it, filled all the info again, working smooth now. Great to all the knowledge here. That's why this site is king.

So it is not connecting to the server .So internet or box issue perhaps. I will bring my box with me and see if it does the same thing there

I am still having authentication problem has me stumped done lots of boxes and never had this happen. So went over there did a factory reset and set T95 box and setup OK 3 on box ran good was there for a few hrs hanging out. Then last night after about 40 hrs later Authentication Problem error showed up again . Speed test was at 164.88 download and 164.83 so very strong test was done on computer. They can use Netflix on there computer and runs good. Anyone have any ideas might change the box out and bring that one home let it run and see if works okay here. If new box does same then there must be some kind of problem. If anyone knows of any ideas of what it could be would love the help.

No never tried a vpn. I don't understand how one box can do this. I will go and switch out box bring it home and see if it does this at my place

I'm having similar issue with STB Emu.I also have ok3.However in my case its harder to pinpoint the problem as the same time I changed my internet provider(for faster speeds),I also changed the android box for a newer model and probably not the same STB Emu version.I am using Armeabi V7a V2.0.6 arm7.Should I use versions for the newer boxes or the older boxes.I have Formuler 8.Also the cable guy when he came to install new modem put a 6db attenuator on cable line.Took it off but seems to make no difference.Also tried rebooted modem and box.Tried box with Ethernet,wifi, both together and still happening.Everything else using wifi works fine.The authentication problem can happen every 15 minutes but other times evry 2 hours or so.

Send a p.m. to Herk. Give him your mac address and ask if it can be reset at the server level. Another option would be to ask your seller if he can switch you to ok4. You would just need to swap a 3 to a 4 in the Url in Stb emu

Ok,thanks,will be renewing in a couple of weeks.Will go for ok4 next time.I will still try to work on my problem meantime.

Just curious, but why are you using STBemu on an Formuler box ? Pretty sure the MyTV Online integrate app is better than STBEmu and unless I missed something, it does support MAC ID subs.

Unless you are trying to use the same MAC sub on 2 different boxes and obviously can't edit MAC on integrated apps.

My old box mac was compromised so seller then gave me a different mac address.Since renewal is soon I will then give him the Mac adress of this box.I did try OTT Navigator last night and had no issues,problem with OTT Navigator is not getting EPG.

Did you try the latest STBEmu Pro ? You can find it on a sticky on this forum. I recently uploaded 2.0.8. Just in case it was a minor bug fix. Also, under the STBEmu profile, STB Configuration, did you try toggling the "enable ministra support" option, and reloading the portal ?

Tried the newer 2.0.8 but still have the same problem.Will use the preloaded IPTV App soon.Will see then.
